Many times we get “stuck” into the way we think things should be, and we don’t open up to what it could be, if we were just more open minded.  I know people who fight change kicking and screaming, and those that accept it as if it were the most natural thing in the world.  Just remember, just because you don’t like the thought, everything changes!

What has changed for you when you opened your mind to change?

For me, the direction of my business is always changing paths (for the better) because I am open to changing where I am headed if things begin to change.  When I started my business 5 years ago, I never would have thought I would be training others on starting their businesses, be a speaker, and know people all over the world.  I just envisioned myself making income to help support my family.  Instead, I have a new life, new friends, and a new commitment to my clients as I see their vision and their goals.  What an awesome life, when things are everchanging.  I am not a person for the same thing everyday.  I like diversity, change, and new experiences! 

I do have a hard time with the change of my children growing up though :(

Due to the topic of our newsletter, coming out tomorrow (http://www.virtualvacoach.com/newsletter/archive.html), this week we are going to focus on Change.  I know that is a scary word for some people, but truly, we should embrace change.  Can you imagine what would have happened if our forefathers had not embraced change?  We would still be sitting in a cave, wearing leaves to cover our bodies and pounding our chests (LOL).  Truthfully though, imagine the world if we were not open to change.  I am thankful for the change that has happened over time to allow me to be where I am today, are you?

Let’s take this opportunity to really look at change and what it has meant to us.  I will start, and I look forward to hearing what change has done for you!

For me, change has allowed me to grow into the person I am today.  It has allowed the internet to be developed, which has allowed me to work from home so that I can watch my children grow up.  It has allowed the world to overcome racism and bigotry and now Iam able to live within a peaceful world, accepting of my biracial family.  It allowed me to fall in love with someone 100 years ago, I would never have been allowed to even speak to.  It has allowed me to create an independence and a self identity of who I want to be as woman, mother, wife, friend, career, and more.  I am thankful for change, and continue to embrace it and grow with it!
